My children have been attending Master Shin's Taekwondo Class and the experience has been outstanding. The instructors are incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and great with kids. They emphasize discipline, respect, and focus, which has positively impacted my children's behavior both in and out of class.
The lessons are well-structured, starting with warm-ups and progressing through various techniques, forms, and self-defense drills. The classes are engaging, and my children are always excited to attend. The environment is friendly and supportive, making it easy for kids to learn at their own pace while still being challenged.
What I appreciate most is the emphasis on character development. The instructors teach the importance of perseverance, humility, and respect for others, which are values that extend beyond martial arts.
The belt testing process is well-organized, and the school does a great job of preparing the kids for each level. My child recently earned a new belt, and it was a proud moment for our family. The instructors genuinely care about each student's progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
Overall, I highly recommend Master Shin'sTaekwondo Class for any parent looking to enroll their child in a martial arts program. It has been a fantastic experience for us, and I’m confident it will be for other families as well.

At the ripe age of 36 I decided to try my hand at martial arts. I am an anxious person by nature and starting martial arts was far, FAR outside my comfort zone. I have had zero training and spent well over 2 and a half months looking at schools all over the valley to find one I enjoyed. Master Shins school has given me a place where I feel like I belong, am respected and guided. Master Shin's teaching is fun, interactive and serious when it needs to be. You never feel less than anyone else or talked down to here. If you are looking for a Dojang as a first timer or a seasoned vet, Master Shin's Tae Kwon Do is the best of the best. Thank you Master Shin and Mrs. Shin for making me feel welcomed and like I have a home away from home at the Dojang.

Joining Master Shin’s program has been such an awesome experience. I joined the adult class at age 40 and was really worried that the limitations of my physical condition would hinder me. The high quality instruction and training I have received has not only improved my flexibility, mobility and strength but also my confidence level. I’m extremely happy with everything that I’ve learned and how great I feel physically. I cannot speak highly enough of Master and Mrs. Shin, they are the absolute best!

Always like to see both Master/Mrs Shin when they are teaching TKD, it's not always about TKD they also teach the lesson about behaviour and many more.

Master Shin is absolutely fantastic. We enrolled our son in his classes when our son was 6. He is now 12 and still going strong. Master Shin teaches discipline, focus, and respect, as well as works class Tae Kwon Do. He has an incredible retention rate and many students keep going to become black belts. He is kind but firm and fair. The skills he teaches are both body and mind and I am so grateful for everything he has done for our family.
Although many people think the martial arts are just about fighting, the truth is that the physical “kicking and punching” are really just the tools that I use to teach the more important, and MUCH more valuable lessons about yourself.
